Governor's office issues $5,000 reward in homicide case

The Governor's office has issued a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in a homicide investigation in Birmingham.  The incident happened back in July 2012 on Greensprings Highway.  Police found 42-year-old Graylin Lewis inside his pickup truck suffering from a gunshot wound.  The victim, who called officers on his cell phone, said he was robbed right before he was shot.  He was rushed to UAB Hospital and later died from his injuries.  No arrests have been made in the case.  Crime Stoppers is offering an additional reward.  If you have any information, call Birmingham Police Department's Homicide Unit at (205) 254-1764 or Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777.
