In a large stock pot, melt butter add garlic, sausage, shrimp, and sauté 3 to 4 minutes.
Add flour, and stir to create a roux. Let cook for about 3 minutes. Add vegetables and stock the rest of the ingredients.
Stir occasionally until the Gumbo thickens, and vegetables are cooked.
You can also add crawfish tails or chicken if you wish to. Just add in the first steps!
