Union Public Schools is putting "bullying" under the microscope Thursday as it kicks off its "Bullseye Initiative: Targeting Bullying" campaign.
This program focuses on teacher education, awareness and a student driven zero tolerance attitude towards bullying. The program includes training teachers, a student panel, building a zero tolerance community, support groups for victims and more.
The Bullseye Initiative will start at the Union 9th Grade Center. The kickoff will include a DJ at lunch, staff wearing Bullseye Initiative t-shirts, signs all over school, and the students getting involved.
