The Calera High School marching band is headed to Washington, D.C. to represent the state of Alabama at the inaugural parade.
Thursday at 4:00 pm, the city is giving band members a send-off party at the Sav Mor Food Outlet in Calera.
As of Wednesday morning, the band was still $9,000 short of its $60,000 goal.
