Gary Lee WillisAccording to a release by the Etowah County Sheriff's
Office, Gary Willis, of Boaz, has been arrested and charged with a theft
related offense.
"Willis is charged with one count of second degree theft of
property and one count of third degree burglary, both are felonies," states
Investigator Ben Greene.
The suspect allegedly stole a welder, engine parts,
two lawn mowers, tool box and several boxes of family heir looms from a
residence on Boutwell Road in Carlisle.
Willis was seen by a witness walking away from the property
on January 6 and was able to give a detailed description of the suspect to
Investigator Greene.
The stolen items have not been recovered at this time.
