Sex offender arrested for not registering address

Etowah County, AL -

Jack Brian Railey, of Hokes Bluff, has been arrested for failing to comply with the community notification act. "Railey was arrested and is charged in connection to living in a place other than his registered address," states Investigator Josh Morgan. The charge is a felony.

Railey allegedly moved from his registered address in the city limits of Hokes Bluff to a residence on Turner Road, just outside the city.

Railey was found to be non-compliant after his state probation officer and the Etowah County Sheriff's Office received information that he was not in compliance with the community notification act.

An Etowah County Sheriff's deputy and state probation officer located Railey at the other residence.
