Update to Pelham bank robbery, suspect information released

Update: Police are looking for Jimmy Dawson Cunningham, Jr. It is reported that he is was wearing a black hooded shirt, brown t-shirt, black sweat pants, brownish gray cap, he has a shaved head with a sunshine tattoo.

It is believed that Cunningham is now responsible for four bank robberies in the Birmingham area and one in Cullman County.

The Union State Bank located on Hwy 31 at Hwy 119 in Pelham was robbed Monday morning. The robbery happened around 10:15AM.

The suspect is male, in his 30's, approximately 6'1" tall. He was wearing a ball cap, jacket, and possibly wearing shorts. The suspect presented a note to the teller. There was no weapon involved. He was last seen driving a light gray car.
