
Grand Marnier Brulee
Ingredients:
Heavy cream - 2 cups
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Vanilla bean - 1/2
Grand Marnier - 2 TBSP
Egg yolks - 2/3 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Directions:
1 - Heat milk, cream, 1st amount of sugar, vanilla, and grand marnier in heavy bottom pot and heat till steamy.
2 - Mix egg yolks and 2nd amount of sugar in bowl.
3 - temper egg yolks and hot cream mixture, mix well, strain.
4 - pour into ramekins place in water bath.
5 - Bake at 300 for mini brulees cook about 30 minutes and larger 40-50 minutes.
6 - It will not be firm in oven you want a jello kind of jiggle.
