Jefferson County deputy OK after carjacking leads to accident

JEFFERSON COUNTY - AL -

A Jefferson County deputy is OK tonight after a carjacking led to a wreck.

The carjacking happened in the Graysville area. When deputies spotted the car, they tried to pull it over. That's when the suspects sped away. The car wrecked near Hillview School. A county patrol car was involved in the wreck.

The suspects have just minor injuries. The deputy was not hurt.
