Notre Dame 21, Alabama 20.

At least that's what ESPN college basketball analyst Dick Vitale thinks will happen on Monday night when the Crimson Tide and Fighting Irish square off in the BCS National Championship game.

The boisterous and outspoken "Dickie V" made his prediction Thursday night during an interview inside the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.

"I think touchdown Jesus is going to smile on campus." Vitale said. "There's going to be a celebration. Don't tell all the Alabama people that are here at the Fontainebleau that the genie was here. I don't want them to hear me. 21 Notre Dame, 20 Alabama."

He followed his pick of the Irish like only Vitale can do.

"And it's going to be AWESOME, baby! With a capital A!"

It should be noted that Vitale's two daughters both attended the University of Notre Dame. Although he is open about his love for the Fighting Irish football team, Vitale tweeted later in the night a photo of himself with his arm around Alabama running back Eddie Lacey.

Dickie V knows a "PTPer" (Prime Time Player) when he sees one.
