Police investigating a shooting incident in the Ross Bridge area

Hoover Police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting incident in Ross Bridge. (abc3340.com)

The shooting allegedly happened on Chalbye Way in Ross Bridge. (abc3340.com)

HOOVER - AL -

Detectives from the Hoover Police Department are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Chalybe Way in the Ross Bridge area. The shooting occurred between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

The female victim reported that a male fired a handgun at her car. There were no injuries in this incident.

Detectives do not believe that the victim was randomly targeted. This incident remains under investigation.
