Students will return to Montevallo Elementary Thursday morning. The school has been closed for weeks to clean up a mold problem.
Some crews battled the black mold problem, while others did a general cleanup and some repainting.
Teachers returned to the campus Wednesday, and they found a different school than the one they left in December. School leaders tell us that two companies have now certified that the building is clean and safe.
