Oklahoma Saw Highest Gas Prices Ever In 2012

Posted: Updated:

Though gas prices around Tulsa are down to around $2.80 a gallon right now, we are coming off our worst year ever.

AAA says 2012 gas prices were the most expensive on record in Oklahoma.

The average for regular unleaded was $3.41 a gallon, topping last year's record of $3.33.

The national average was $3.60 a gallon, which also the highest ever.

AAA says prices will remain high in 2013, but should fall short of another record-setting year.
