A carnival worker from Georgia is facing sexual abuse charges in Etowah County.
The Sheriff's Department said 30-year-old George Michael Smith is in the Etowah County Detention Center.
He's charged with Abusing a Child under the age of 12. He was arrested in Georgia.
Investigators said while working with a traveling carnival, he moved around frequently.
