The second-ranked Alabama football team arrived in Miami Wednesday afternoon, where they will continue final preparations for the BCS National Championship game against No. 1 Notre Dame.
Alabama practiced in Tuscaloosa earlier in the day before loading buses to take them to the Tuscaloosa Airport for the flight to South Florida. Head coach Nick Saban will hold three practices in Miami before meeting Brian Kelly and his undefeated Fighting Irish in Sun Life Stadium Monday night.
Upon arriving at the airport, medical personnel boarded Alabama's chartered plane to treat reserve offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio for dehydration. He is expected to recover in time for the team's first practice.
The ABC 33/40 sports team is already in the Sunshine State to cover the game, and we will continue to provide complete coverage of Alabama's quest for their third BCS title in four years.
