Pickens County police chase ends with crash, two people dead

PICKENS COUNTY - AL -

A Carrollton police chase ended with a car crash. Law enforcement say the driver who fled from police and one of his passengers was killed.

State troopers say a driver fleeing from police was involved in a two car accident Saturday around 6:40 p.m. on Alabama 17 in Pickens County. That's between Reform and Carrollton.

The driver and a passenger in the fleeing vehicle were killed. Another passenger from that same car and a passenger of the second vehicle were taken to Pickens County Medical Center. Their injuries are not life threatening.

The accident is still under investigation
