The men and women who lost their lives to violence in Birmingham over the last year will be remembered.
A city wide candlelight and prayer vigil will be held in Kelly Ingram Park Monday at 5 p.m.. The names of each victim will be read as family members, friends and church leaders pray for less violence in 2013.
Parents Against Violence and Alabama Youth Against Violence are encouraging everyone to participate. They hope to make it an annual event.
