Willis Douglas WoodwardOne man is in custody after a six-hour standoff with police in Oxford.
The incident began around 4:30 a.m. at a mobile home park on Harkins Drive following a domestic dispute between a man and woman. The suspect eventually surrendered to Oxford Police officers and has been taken into custody.
Investigators told ABC 33/40 the female involved in the dispute suffered only minor injuries during the event.
There was minor damage to the mobile home window where the standoff occurred. ABC 33/40 will update this story as more information becomes available.

Willis Douglas Woodward, 49, was arrested at 10:32 a.m. after surrendering to Oxford Police on Harkins Drive.
Police received the initial call to the 5000 block of US Hwy 78 at 3:49 a.m. Friday through 911, and they were advised of a fight at that location, which has been determined to be Woodward's former wife's residence. After assaulting a family member at the aforementioned location, the suspect left for a mobile home park at the 100 block of Harkins Drive.
There, police say, Woodward forced another family member to leave the residence then barricaded himself inside from police.
After nearly six hours of negotiations and the deployment of gas, Woodward surrendered to authorities. He was taken into custody and transported to the Oxford Police Department without further incident.
Woodward is charged with two counts of Domestic Violence and a court date has been set for February 5, 2013. His bond is $2,000.
