Shelby County Christmas tree recycling

A Christmas tree recycling program will run from December 26 - January 4 in Shelby County.

Anyone who would like to dispose of their tree can bring theirs, minus decorations and Christmas lights, to one of five locations. Here is a list of drop off locations:

- Heardmont Park
- Chelsea City Hall
- Ray Building
- Propst Alabaster, LLC.
- Pelham City Hall

The trees will be recycled into landscape and erosion control materials for Shelby County facilities.
