TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama's second-ranked football team held its final practice before Christmas break on Saturday morning inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
The team worked for two hours in full pads as the Tide continued its focus on fundamentals while also getting a lot of 1s vs. 1s work in Saturday.
"It was very important for us to have a great practice today," linebacker Nico Johnson said. "We get this time off for Christmas and we have to be ready to come back with the right mindset. We will be full throttle working on Notre Dame when we get back."
The team has three days off before returning on the evening of Dec. 26. The Crimson Tide will then hold six practices on campus before departing for Miami on Jan. 2. Alabama will practice three times in Miami with a walk-through the day before the game.
For more information on Alabama Football, follow the Tide on Twitter @AlabamaFTBL and like the team on Facebook at AlabamaFTBL.
