Toddler Killed in Wednesday Night Accident

JEFFERSON COUNTY - AL -

An accident on Morris Majestic Road in Jefferson County has claimed the life of a toddler.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies and the Morris Fire Department responded to the accident around 9 p.m. last night. The Sheriff's Office says 3-year-old Samantha Hayes was killed when the Chevrolet Malibu she was in ran off the road and into a ditch. The driver of the car was not injured.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
