Authorities arrested a southeast Alabama woman after a remark about shooting prompted a lock down at an elementary school. Police say 55-year-old Glendell Ruth Hasan is charged with making a terrorist threat. According to reports, the woman was leaving a child at Faine Elementary School in Dothan when a confrontation occurred. Police charged Hasan with telling a teacher's aide: "They can shoot up this whole school as far as I care." The school went under a security lock down for about an hour.

Hasan's lawyer says no threat was made. She blames the arrest on overreaction after the Connecticut school shooting. Dothan Superintendent Tim Wilder says the shooting remark came after employees refused to let Hasan through a door and told her to use the proper entrance.
