Gadsden man arrested, charged with sexual abuse related offenses.

Jeremy Sisk, of Gadsden, has been arrested and charged with a sexual abuse related offense.

"Sisk is charged with two counts of first degree sodomy, one count of first degree sexual abuse and one count of second degree sexual abuse," states Chief Mike Jones.

Sisk allegedly sexually abused a female victim under the age of 13. The incidents occurred over an extended period of time and took place in Gadsden. The victim is now 22 years old.

The sexual abuse went unreported for several years. An indictment was issued by the Grand Jury on Monday, December 17 and Sisk was picked up by Etowah County Sheriff's deputies and deputies assigned to the US Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force last night, December 18, at approximately 8:00 p.m.

Sisk is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
