More mold found at Montevallo Elementary School

After finding more mold at Montevallo Elementary School, the Shelby County Board of Education decided to close the school early for Christmas break. (abc3340.com)

A meeting is being held today, December 12th, to announce an early Christmas break for Montevallo Elementary students.

Shelby County Board of Education has decided to close Montevallo Elementary early for the holidays after more mold was found in the school.

Today was the last day for students and teachers. The school will not re-open any earlier than January 2, 2013.
