Four robbery suspects have been arrested and charged with 32 counts of robbery following an incident involving a Jimmy John's delivery driver, the Tuscaloosa Police Department reports.

Officers responded to a robbery call at the 1000 block of Myrtlewood Drive around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday night, and upon arrival, police discovered that a Jimmy John's delivery driver had been robbed at gunpoint.

The victim, who had just finished delivering food to a customer and was going back to his car, said a suspect pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. After handing over the money, the victim said the suspect fled on foot, along with two other suspects.

Tuscaloosa Police canvassed the area with the Crime Suppression Unit, and eventually conducted a traffic stop on a gray Ford Taurus, the same model vehicle that had reportedly been involved in previous robberies in the area, at the intersection of Jack Warner Parkway and Helen Keller Boulevard.

Officers found four subjects inside the vehicle matching the suspects' description given by the Jimmy John's driver. Following a search of the car, 34 individual baggies of marijuana were found, along with a black handgun with an obliterated serial number and digital scales used to measure the weight of drugs. The gun recovered was reported stolen in Florida.

After being transported to the Tuscaloosa Police Department, the four suspects were questioned by Criminal Investigators and all four were eventually charged with eight counts of First-Degree Robbery, with one suspect receiving additional drug and weapons charges.

Police believe the suspects were involved in robberies that occurred in a week's timeframe at The Woodlands, Crimson Student Living, Crimson Place Condominiums and The Oaks.

Javonte Durrel Cannon, 19, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. was arrested and charged with 8 Counts of Robbery 1st Degree. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa Count Jail pending a $480,000.00 Bond.

Zachkary Ladarius Miller, 19, of Huntsville, was arrested and charged with 8 Counts of Robbery 1st Degree. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa Count Jail pending a $480,000.00 Bond.

Robert Curtis Willis Jr., 20, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., was arrested and charged with 8 Counts of Robbery 1st Degree. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa Count Jail pending a $480,000.00 Bond.

Kerry Tyree Robinson, 22, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., was arrested and charged with 8 Counts of Robbery 1st Degree, Receiving Stolen Property 3rd Degree, Possession of an Altered Firearm, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $517,000.00 Bond
