Local Dentists Help Infants In Crisis

    The Etowah County Sheriff's Office says an inmate kitchen worker escaped the Etowah County Detention Center Friday morning. 

A local dentist is bringing smiles to a children's charity.

A clothing and toy drive is now underway for Emergency Infant Services.

All month, the office of Doctors Morrow, Lai, and Edwards is collecting new and gently used clothing, especially for toddlers.

It's at 2930 South Pittsburg.
    
The pediatric practice wants to spread holiday cheer by focusing on the health and happiness of little ones.

EIS worker Tom Taylor says, "What they're wanting is for their clientele to come in and donate toys, donate diapers, formula anything you can think of that a baby from zero through five years old would need."
        
Emergency Infant Services helps meet the basic needs of children under five whose families are in crisis.
