BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Birmingham Police have arrested and charged two suspects in connection with a homicide investigation. 18-year-old Cherrelle Mitchell and 19-year-old Erick Densmore are charged in the murder of 19-year-old Ryan Michael Jordan.  The suspects are behind bars at the Jefferson County Jail on a $60,000 bond.  The shooting happened just after 11:00 Sunday evening at 3305 Avenue H.  Police say the suspects were charged due to the fact that they conspired to rob the person that shot the victim.  During the course of the armed robbery, the intended robbery victim was forced to shoot the victim that was also involved in planning and executing the robbery.  The District Attorney's office say the actions of the shooter will be ruled as justifiable due to the fact the victim was attempting to rob the person that shot him.
