The CEO of American Airlines opens up about a possible merger.
In an interview with the Associated Press Monday, Thomas Horton says American is nearly finished with a bankruptcy turn around.
Horton says the only big decision left is whether to remain independent or merge with U.S. Airways.
H says the provisions approved by pilots last week will help regain passengers it has lost and become "a powerhouse."
