Man Attempts Hold Up Of North Tulsa Gas Station

A suspect tries to hold up a north Tulsa gas station but comes away empty handed.

The attempted robbery happened late Sunday at the 2 Go Food Mart near Pine Street and north Yale Avenue.

At the time, police said the clerk was closing up the store to go home. As he padlocked the door, an armed man came up and demanded the clerk open the store.

The clerk told the guy he didn't have the key, and seconds later the masked man ran off.

The man ran off moments later. Police describe the suspect as a black man, 24-28 years of age with a dark complexion. He stands 5'03", weighs 100 lbs and was wearing black mask, black clothing during the crime.
