BIRMINGHAM - AL -
A man has died after being shot in the chest Friday
night.
Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to
2711 Municipal Lane in Brookside, just before 10:00 p.m., and discovered a
person suffering from a gunshot wound inside a car. The victim, 31-year-old
Timothy Stewart of Brookside, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators learned the incident originated in the
200 block of Dugan Avenue in Birmingham, about twenty minutes away.
Birmingham Police homicide investigators are
investigating this case. So far, no arrests have been made.
