Jefferson county deputies were call to a house fire in the 2500 block of Altadena Forest Circle just before 2:00am Saturday morning. The Hoover fire department was working to put out a fire at the home when deputies arrived, and they informed the deputies that the bodies of two people had been found inside the home.

The victims have not yet been identified, and the cause of the fire is not immediately known.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, but there are no signs of foul play.

The home is located at 2509 Altadena Forest Circle, which is nestled in a neighborhood across from Biarwood Presbyterian Church off Altadena Road.

Firefighters from the Rocky Ridge Fire Department were at the scene around 1:30 p.m. today.

There is still no word on the cause of the fire, and the identities of the two bodies found inside have not been released. We will update you with more information as it is made available.
