Tuscaloosa businessman heads business council

A long-time Tuscaloosa businessman will chair The Business Council of Alabama for 2013. Carl Jamison was unanimously elected at the annual meeting of the BCA Friday. Jamison is a shareholder at JamisonMoneyFarmer, PC, a Tuscaloosa accounting, auditing, tax and consulting firm.

The following individuals were elected as officers of the BCA:

 First Vice Chairman:

Fred McCallum – President, AT&T Alabama – Birmingham

 Second Vice Chairman:

Martin Abroms – President, Abroms and Associates – Florence

 Immediate Past Chairman:

Terry Kellogg – President and CEO, BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama – Birmingham

Treasurer:

Charles Nailen – President, BBG Specialty Foods – Dothan

 Secretary:

Philip Dotts – Managing Director, Public Financial Management, Inc. – Huntsville

 Legal Counsel:

Fournier J. "Boots" Gale – Senior Vice President/General Counsel, Regions Financial Corp. - Birmingham
