Bama Fever, Inc./Team Fever, LLC is using its stores to help sick children. The sports swag store will be selling $1 icons and collecting donations to raise money for ill and injured children treated at Children's of Alabama through Tuesday, December 25. It is part of the Miracle Makers for Children's program. That is a year-round statewide campaign designed to increase awareness and funding support for the nationally-recognized specialized programs and services offered by Children's of Alabama, the state's only freestanding pediatric hospital.
As a Miracle Maker, Bama Fever/Team Fever joins numerous stores, restaurants and other corporate entities across Alabama in supporting Children's through a variety of fundraising efforts that best suit the particular business. All proceeds will directly benefit the patients at Children's.
"As a not-for-profit hospital, we depend on the support of our donors, corporate sponsors and friends to help meet the ever-changing healthcare needs of patients at Children's of Alabama," said CC Thompson, Community Outreach Coordinator for Children's. "We are excited to have Bama Fever/Team Fever as one of our Miracle Makers. Every dollar that is raised stays in Alabama and has a direct impact on our patients, families and the community. Community support is essential to making Children's what it is today and what it will be tomorrow."
