One by one, police helicopters landed atop Children's Hospital this afternoon, delivering donated toys to be given to patients for Christmas.

At least 13 different law enforcement agencies sent their choppers to Birmingham as part of a special operation, which officials are calling "Operation Fly Toys".

Donations poured in at the Tuscaloosa Police Department, so much so, that they had to use two helicopters to deliver all the toys to the hospital.

ABC 33/40's Bryant Sommerville was there to cover all the action, and sent back some video and photos of the event. He'll have more on the story in our news at 5 and 6 p.m. tonight.
