19-year-old arrested for Ensley homicide in September

Stephan Calhoun, 19, is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a murder warrant.

The Birmingham Police Department reports that a 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with a homicide investigation. The victim was discovered on September 19, 2012 at approximately 11:00 p.m. in the 1100 block of 25th Street Ensley.

The victim has been identified as Devontae Jones, 18, of Birmingham.

Stephan Calhoun, 19, of Birmingham, has been detained on a murder warrant without bond. Calhoun is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail.
