A missing child alert has been issued after twins disappeared in the Birmingham area.
The state Department of Public Safety says Destiny Seay and Genesis Nelson were taken by their non-custodial mother, Tamika Lark.
Lark apparently took the children on Sunday.
Tamika Lark is 28 years old, 5'4", 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Genesis Nelson is 4 years old, 4'2", 42 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Destiny Seay is 1 year old, 3', 25 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
