More mold testing ahead for Montevallo Elementary

MONTEVALLO - AL -

More mold testing will be done at Montevallo Elementary School. It's being done eve as mold cleanup is nearly complete. There tests will confirm that the levels of mold have been adequately reduced.

Dozens of parents pulled their children out of the school, citing health concerns. It happened after mold was found inside a wall in September. Many students have been moved to temporary portable classrooms while the mold cleanup is being done.

When the cleanup is complete, the Environmental Protection Agency will visit the school to ensure the building is in compliance with regulations.
