SEC Championship: Alabama leads Georgia 10-7 at the half; Stats

No.2 Alabama leads No. 3 Georgia 10-7 at halftime of the 2012 SEC Championship game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

The Bulldogs scored first when quarterback Aaron Murray hit Jay Rome for a 19-yard touchdown at the start of the second quarter.

Alabama answered with a 41-yard touchdown run by Eddie Lacy with less than two minutes left in the first half, then added a 22-yard field goal as time expired to enter halftime with a three point lead.

The Crimson Tide has outgained the Bulldogs on offense, gaining 246 yards of offense, 145 coming on the ground. Georgia has 157 total yards.

Both quarterbacks in the game have thrown an interception, but Alabama's AJ McCarron lost a fumble while being sacked by Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones.
