Alabama State University President Joseph Silver is now on Administrative leave.  A committee of the school's Board Of Trustees recommended the move today.     Silver believes it was done because
    ASU's President placed on leave.

The Alabama State University Board of Trustees has delayed a meeting that could determine the fate of the school's president. Governor Robert Bentley requested the delay.

An executive committee of the board placed school president Joseph Silver on leave this week.

Silver says it happened after he inquired about the school's finances. Silver also tried to fire the school's Executive Vice President.

In a statement, Silver says that he got no cooperation when he raised questions about financial information, and requested documentation.
