A U.S. Mail truck's windshield was shot out by a pellet gun on Wednesday, Sgt. Johnnie Williams of the Birmingham Police Department confirmed.
The incident happened at 12:56 p.m. at 2832 23rd Street Ensley. The postal driver was not inside the truck during the shooting, and there are no reports of injuries.
Police do not have a suspect at this time, and it is unknown if the vehicle was intentionally shot or was hit by a stray pellet.
