Rolling Stones gather no moss

Posted: Updated:

The Rolling Stones still have it. The aging group of rockers wowed a sold-out concert last week in London. They have sold out three concerts in the New York City area for the month of December.

Those fortunate enough to get a ticket are probably seeing the last tour of the Rolling Stones. After all, it is the group's 50th anniversary.

It was on this day in 1969 the Stones opened a four-night stand at Madison Square Garden.

The average age of the four living members of the Rolling Stones is two years older than the nine justices on the U.S. Supreme Court. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have an average age of 68 years.

The average age for the sitting Supreme Court justices is 66 years.

Now, the nickname for the Justices used to be "the nine old men" (before women came on the court of course). The question to ponder now, what would you call the Rolling Stones?
