A boy in Indiana has a unique way of passing the time during his mom's cancer treatments. It's inspiring patients and hospital workers alike.

You might agree... this young man is talented and wise beyond his years.

It's a concert in the lobby of Community Hospital East. 8 year old Martin strokes the strings. and soothes the souls. His mother 44 year old Tammy Williamson is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. While she is behind closed doors, her husband Rodney and their daughters 2 year old Zella and 4 year old Ericka waite patiently , listening to the music, and thinking positive thoughts, about Tammy. Doctors say the performance is therapeutic.

"This is an unbelievable gift to the staff here. The other patients that are here, and most importantly to his mother. It's huge"

" I go into treatment and when I come out they are here and people are talking with them. I just kinda blend in. When people see me they say are you his mother? Somehow that makes me special because I'm his mother. I'll take that. It's a very big blessing to have a family."

Martin says he knows the music makes his mother feel good. but he doesn't dwell on his talent. he steers the conversation to thanksgiving. and what he is thankful for.

"My family, friends, food water and Jesus who died on the cross for our sins."

A little boy making music, a little boy wise beyond his years.
