Birmingham woman found dead from gunshot

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

A bullet has claimed the life of a 29-year-old Birmingham woman. North Precinct officers were dispatched to #24 4^th Court West just after 5:00 p.m. Saturday, and found a woman at the address suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue transported the victim to UAB Hospital, where she later died.

The woman has been identified as Dolouis Robinson, 29, of Birmingham. Family members of Robinson say a candlelight vigil will be Monday night at 6:00, at the same address where the shooting happened.

Police have not yet made any arrests in this case. If there is anyone who has any information about this case, they are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 254-7777.
