Brothers rescue elderly woman from house fire on Williamsburg Drive

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Fire crews responded to a house fire at 9744 Williamsburg Drive in Birmingham early Wednesday morning. Two brothers woke up to dogs barking. When they got up to see what the dogs were barking at, they saw their elderly neighbor's house on fire. The two men pulled the woman from the burning home. She was transported to the hospital. No word on her condition. Crews are also working on a ruptured gas line in front of the house.
