Hope for Chilton Medical Center

Help is on the way for the Chilton Medical Center.

The Chilton County commission has voted to give $960,000 to the county's hospital board. The money will be used to try and re-open the county's only hospital. The two closest hospitals to the county are more than 30 miles away.

The hospital closed last month after its owners failed to meet payroll.
