BIRMINGHAM - AL -
The Environmental Protection Agency has been testing some Birmingham soil due to pollution concerns.
Tomorrow, the EPA and Congresswoman Terri Sewell will discuss the work. Soil testing began earlier this month on 1,200 properties in Collegeville, Fairmont and Harriman neighborhoods.
The EPA stepped in after receiving complaints from neighbors. If necessary, the EPA will clean any affected property.
