Carjacking at Brookwood Mall

HOMEWOOD - AL -

Homewood Police are investigating a carjacking that happened in a parking deck at Brookwood mall on Friday.

The car-jacking occurred at Brookwood Mall at 1:45 p.m. in the lower parking deck behind Belk.

A woman was approached by a male armed with a knife, then had her vehicle stolen after being shoved to the ground.

Police are looking for the man and the victim's stolen 2007 white Toyota Avalon. If you have any information regarding this case, please call the Homewood Police Department at 332-6200.
