Trevor Lacey led all scorers in Alabama's 65-62 victory over Oregon State on Thursday night in the 2K Sports Classic semifinals at Madison Square Garden, but it was Rodney Cooper's three-pointer with a little over 12 seconds left in the game that secured the win.
Lacey finished the night with 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting and three assists, while Cooper's final shot gave him nine points on the night.
Alabama moves to 3-0 on the year and will face the winner of the Villanova/Purdue game in the tournament final on Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
