UPDATE: US 78 in Leeds reopen, gas leak shut off

Highway 78 in Leeds is back open after being shut down because of a gas main break in a construction area.

Crews are now working to repair the main gas line that was ruptured near the Leeds Police Department, which is located at 1040 Park Drive.

A new fire station is under construction, and that is where the line was ruptured. The new fire station is in front of the police department.
