The Town of Colony is ready to move on without a Mayor... For now.
City Hall has been shut down because of a tie in the Mayoral race. The old City Council was unable to choose a Mayor after the tie. Now, five Council Members have agreed on an operating framework until a new Mayor is selected.
State statute allows the Council to choose a Mayor between the two men who tied for the office, of they can choose someone else.
